Stepney is an experienced transportation engineer specializing in roadway design, construction PS&E production, and project program management. She has more than 37 years of transportation experience, site-development planning, and Rail coordination with the N.C. Department of Transportation, Town of Cary, and Simpson Engineers & Associates. Stepney currently works with WGI Inc. in Cary, North Carolina, as a Senior Program Manager.

Stepney is a Professional Engineer licensed in North Carolina and a Certified Public Manager. She has served on the CCEE Advisory Board since 2019.
