Five CCEE faculty promoted, tenured in 2023

Promotion and tenure mark major milestones in the academic lives of NC State faculty. Promoted faculty have met rigorous standards in their realms of responsibility, and tenured faculty have made a significant impact in their discipline. This year, NC State recognized 107 faculty for these achievements, including five CCEE faculty.

“NC State’s faculty continually go above and beyond in their scholarship, service and innovation in higher education,” said Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Warwick Arden. “They fulfill the university’s land-grant mission with excellence and provide a platform by which we can address society’s biggest challenges and make an impact on our community within and beyond campus walls.”

Promoted and tenured faculty in all disciplines play an integral role in advancing NC State’s mission and vision, and in achieving the university’s strategic goals to better serve fellow faculty, staff, students, and the greater community.

“Promotion and tenure are outstanding achievements which should be celebrated,” said Senior Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs Katharine Stewart. “I look forward to continuing to partner with our faculty to help them advance within their disciplines and meet their goals, both personal and professional.”
