PhD Student Wins Award at Risk Analysis Conference

PhD student Maryam Delavarrafiee (advised by Dr. H. Christopher Frey) received a Student Merit Award from the Exposure Assessment Specialty Group of the Society for Risk Analysis. The award is based on her research paper, “Empirical Comparison of Fine Particulate Matter Exposure Concentrations in North Carolina State University Campus Buses and a Personal Passenger Car.” Ms. Delavarrafiee will present her research at the SRA Annual Meeting during December 7-9, 2015 in Arlington, VA. The award, including $500 and conference registration, will be presented at the Annual Meeting.
