High-Performance Computing Laboratory (CCEE-HPCL)

The Computing and Systems group maintains the CCEE HPCL. HPCL has five Opteron clusters totaling nearly 1000 cores and several high-end workstations. The clusters are:

  • Neer (656 cores)
  • Bezier (284 cores)
  • Ingenia (192 cores)
  • Cygnus (88 cores)
  • Neptune (44 cores)

The clusters are used for specific research projects, as well as in courses, such as:

CE 537 – Computer Methods and Applications (F)
CE 737 – Computer-Aided Engineering Systems (S)
CE 791 – Advanced Topics in Civil Engineering Computing
CE 791A – High-performance computer modeling (F)
